A Team of Professionals Who Love Alaska

Klondike Electric (formerly JB Electric) was founded in 2019 and expanded in 2026 to forge a new company consisting of four lifelong friends. Our team combines decades of experience performing electrical work in Alaska as the foundation of our service and contracting business.

Each of our families are located in Anchorage and share a passion for pursuing Alaskan adventures and recreation. In the summertime, we can be found chasing fish in the river and running jetboats. In the fall, we head for the mountains, looking for big game to fill the freezer. Winter and Spring offer the chance to surf the mountains and explore the backcountry in ways that surpass any other season.

Our grandpa Clifford started his electrical business in Moorhead, MN in 1967. That business was carried on by his descendants, and eventually by his grandchildren through our teens and early twenties. Our training from the beginning of doing this work has been anchored in the core principles of business laid down by our grandfather: hard work, unwavering quality, service at a competitive price. Our craft embodies these values to this day and will continue to guide our services in perpetuity.
